Project overview

This 'state of the art' agricultural building represents the 'new age' of dairy cow management and milk production. It was constructed on a 'green field site' and is designed to house up to 500 dairy cows.

The latest technology has been used for storage and handling of slurry, animal welfare and hygiene, the milking operation, and collection and storage of milk. The milking parlour itself is a fully computerised rotary set up, handling 50 cows at a time. The cows are fed automatically according to their milk yields.
